The British Orthopaedic Oncology Society (BOOS) Annual Conference 2024 brought together leading clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals to share knowledge and discuss the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment and management of musculoskeletal tumours.
The one-day conference featured a comprehensive scientific programme, including keynote addresses, multiple peer-reviewed paper sessions and poster presentations. Topics spanned metastatic bone disease, soft tissue sarcoma, limb salvage and reconstruction, wound management, radiotherapy, paediatric oncology and service development, providing a platform for evidence-based discussion and the exchange of best practice.
Through the presentation of original research, case studies and collaborative discussion, the conference supported innovation, professional development and the continued improvement of patient outcomes within orthopaedic oncology.
