About:

The British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) Spring Conference 2025 was held in May 2025 at the Shuttle Suites within the National Space Centre in Leicester. The event brought together BCAS members from across the UK for a full day of learning, updates and networking within a truly unique venue.

The conference opened with a welcome from BCAS from Chair, Steven Rohan, followed by a series of informative sessions providing key updates on BCAS standards, technical developments, training and development, apprenticeships, and incentive programmes. Speakers also shared progress on important initiatives including the Armed Forces Project, the Data Sheet and Verification Programme, and Continuous Membership Awards, highlighting BCAS’s ongoing commitment to professional development and excellence across the sector.

Following the conference programme, delegates were invited to make the most of the National Space Centre experience, with access to the interactive galleries and a planetarium presentation, “Tour of the Night Sky.” This added a memorable and engaging social element to the event, allowing members to connect in a relaxed and immersive environment.
