About:
The British Sarcoma Group conference is held annually and hosted by a different region each year. The two-day conference features presentations from invited speakers alongside abstract presenters, with around 60 speakers contributing across the programme.
Alongside the conference sessions, an exhibition hall hosted a range of organisations. The space provided delegates with opportunities to meet exhibitors, and network with colleagues during scheduled breaks. For this year’s event, posters were displayed on digital screens positioned at the back of the main conference hall. This format allowed delegates to easily browse the posters throughout the conference and provided a more environmentally friendly alternative to printed posters.
A conference dinner took place on the first evening, providing an opportunity for delegates to network and continue discussions in a more informal setting. Entertainment during the evening included a magician who performed for guests.
Echo’s involvement:
Echo manages all aspects of the conference logistics, including venue sourcing, delegate management, sponsorship, budget management, event logistics, marketing, and onsite delivery. In addition, Echo provides full association management services to the British Sarcoma Group.
