The North East Accountancy Awards 2024 celebrated excellence across the fields of finance, accounting and tax, recognising outstanding achievement from professionals and teams operating across all industry sectors in the region. Held at St James’ Park on 4 July 2024, the awards shone a spotlight on the individuals and organisations driving success within the North East finance community.

The event welcomed over 400 finance and business professionals for an evening of celebration, networking and entertainment. Winners were announced across 14 award categories, including Accountant of the Year, Finance Leader of the Year and In-House Team of the Year, highlighting the depth of talent and commitment within the region’s accountancy and finance sector.

The 2024 Awards were proudly supported by long-standing Main Partner Nigel Wright Group, who have helped build and celebrate the awards for over 15 years, alongside a range of category sponsors from across the profession.
