The Northern Law Awards 2023 celebrated excellence across the North East’s legal sector, recognising the achievements of law firms, in-house legal teams, academia and not-for-profit organisations. Held at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead in June, the awards have become a landmark event in the legal calendar, with a reputation for integrity underpinned by a wealth of experienced judges.
The evening recognised success across 21 categories, including Law Firm of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Lawyer of the Year and Outstanding Achievement, reflecting the talent, ambition and professionalism of the northern legal community.
The event was hosted by award-winning broadcaster Alfie Joey, and featured live entertainment, a charity prize draw, and opportunities to network with peers across the region. Trinity Chambers returned as the main sponsor, celebrating its second consecutive year supporting the awards and championing the North East’s vibrant legal community.
