About:
The British Association of Critical Care Nurses (BACCN) host an annual event which moves around the UK each year. This year it took place in London at the beautiful Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel.

The conference attracts around 400 critical care professionals from across the UK and abroad. The conference takes place across three days. The first is a pre-conference masterclass which delegates can sign up for independently from the main show. The following two days are the main conference which features over 60 speakers across streamed sessions which are organised by theme. Sessions are selected from submitted abstracts which are reviewed by the scientific committee as well as keynote speakers who are invited to talk.

Alongside the main conference runs a large exhibition of around 50 stands, simulation labs and interactive workshops. The social programme is a big part of the event and includes a themed gala dinner which has included in the past casino tables, a James Bond look-a-like, live music and ceilidh dancing.
